Dracula

I'm going to have to get this out now, or I never will. Dracula was very, very dissapointing. While it was a pretty good book, it was very drawn out and boring. Not to mention the very anticlimactic ending of him just being killed in the box, without any struggle or fight. At times, the book would get very confusing with the constant switching of characters, and inbetween the switches, the times would often change to an earlier time, or a future time and then back to the original time. Now I'm off the reading "The Stand", hopefully it will be a bit more interesting.

Ways to Say No

There are several ways to say no to a person, without saying the word no. As Mrs. Matthews just said, not in a million years. I actually found a website, which I thought was kinda humorous, that lists 100 ways to say no, starting with I'd love to but... some of the better ones include: I'd love to but my patent is pending, I'd love to but I'm being deported, I'd love to but the last time I went, I never came back, I'd love to but I have to bleach my hare, and another one that I don't really understand is, I'd love to but I have to floss my cat.

College

When I got home on Monday, I was excited to see a letter I got in the mail from the University of Kentucky, telling me that I was accepted, after waiting almost two months. But the thing is, I don't even know if I am going to go to UK, and instead go to KWC. But another choice was to go to KWC for a year or two, and then transfer once everything gets settled. Either way I'm thrilled to be on my way to college next year, no matter which one I chose.

Delays

Delays are more of a hassle than getting out for a full day. True we get to sleep for an extra our, but it causes people to be late, and gets them out of their natural schedule. Some people have to find a different way to school, as their parents are already at work when they are supposed to take them, and others end up missing the bus. Even though we wont have to make up the day, I would rather not have come at all, as I am extremely tired, and I have no clue why. I guess I'll have to catch up on the sleep tonight.
